Meet the Medieval Master Falconer and his Birds of Prey

Knight School - Dress up and learn the skills to be a Knight of the Realm!

7th - 8th August, 11.00am - 4.00pm

Free with Castle admission (or £5.00 per child for Knight School only)

Children can travel back through time this summer at Oxford Castle - Unlocked Knight School. Youngsters will have the opportunity to learn how to become a medieval knight by trying on replica helmets, breastplates, gauntlets and chain mail shirts.

Activities include taking part in sword fighting lessons and being trained in ‘medieval martial arts.’ Following the training, visitors will be able to take part in a fun re-enactment of the Battle of Agincourt with children and adults on opposing sides.

Knight School is a drop-in event and children may arrive between 11.00am - 4.00pm. Parents/guardians must accompany children at all times.
